What is your name? I am Mikael, the Captain of the Lord’s Host.
What do you look like? Where are you today and what are you doing? I have long blondish-colored hair. I typically wear a white robe with a sky-blue sash and don a sword at my side. I have existed ever since the Creator made his angelic host. I, and many of the other angels, are called God’s messengers. Ever since Lucifer, the one who was the closest to our Creator in the beginning, rebelled, I and my armies have been fighting him and his demons to try and help humanity make the right decisions.
Randy has portrayed several of my missions in his book series called The Adversary Chronicles. Lucifer’s rebellion and him becoming not only the adversary of Yahweh but to me and my angels as well is one of the themes of this series. Randy describes Lucifer’s rebellion in Rebellion in the Stones of Fire. I have had to go against Lucifer on several occasions when he is trying to establish control over the world which Randy has presented in his series about me and Lucifer: from the time Lucifer tried to change human DNA before God put an end to his scheme with the worldwide flood as Randy discusses in his first book, to Lucifer using Gilgamesh and the Tower of Babel to try and usher in a superhuman to take over the world as Randy describes in The Holy Grail of Babylon, to Lucifer using a curse on an Israelite king to try and prevent the coming Messiah from being able to come to the world as prophesied by my Creator which Randy describes in The Defining Curse, to how Lucifer now uses current modern scientific discoveries to manipulate human DNA to target specific ethnic groups as Randy presents in a dramatic way in The Luciferian Plague. It seems my job is never done as Lucifer is one crafty ex-angel who creates and capitalizes on chaos.
Describe the outside of your home. Oh, my home is marvelous and is in a different dimension than yours. Yet, I hope you get to see it one day. It is really beyond description with human words. With our Creator, Yahweh, who values the creative process so much, you can image that there are new and various things to see and explore constantly. Our Creator’s mind is without bounds in his imagination and what he can come up with. Reading Randy’s new series will give you a glimpse of what you can likely see if you come to visit me here.
What’s the mood outside right now? Oh, the mood outside is one of hope and positivity. Despite all that Lucifer has done to mankind and the world, our Creator is a positive influence for all of us. The future will be an exciting one over which our Creator will rule and preside. He being so creative, the beauty you will experience will be beyond your current comprehension. You must come and experience it.
What is your favorite piece of clothing? That is a curious question for me to answer. I have been wearing the same thing ever since I was created. That does not concern me because I am the Creator’s messenger. If I need to appear human to someone on Earth, I can morph into any character and clothing that is necessary to carry out that specific mission. Yet, often, I am on the scene in a way most humans cannot see me. When I fight, I often will need to use my wings which many have described as majestic with a vast wingspan. Yet, when not in use, you would not really notice that I have them as they fold very efficiently and compactly.
What scares you? I don’t think the word ‘scare’ is something I have experienced. You see, I have complete faith in my Creator and in His plan. Therefore, scare is not something I will likely ever experience. However, I do have concerns and I think that is close to the meaning implied here. I see how much love my Creator has for his creation, yet I see many of his creations not even acknowledge Him. That is concerning to me because I know firsthand how wonderful and loving my Creator is and how much he loves all mankind. It is concerning to me that many have not yet experienced Him, and some may never do so. If everyone could only see Him the way I do, they would flock to him for his love is beyond measure and his greatest desire is to lavish his love on each and every human. Yet, that can only come through faith which can only come through the enactment of a person’s will.
How would your parents describe you? Well, I don’t have parents, but I do have a Creator. I would hope he would describe me as someone who is onboard with His plan for the world and finds me faithful in carrying it out. As I am the Captain of his angelic army, I think he would say I am motivated to help prepare all the angels to carry out His plan and engage the Adversary, Lucifer, whenever the need arises and without hesitation.
What’s the last thing you do before you go to bed at night? I do not sleep, but I praise my Creator each day as giving him praise also gives me strength and purpose.
Who is your best friend? I have many angelic friends, but I am also the Captain of most of them. Yet, as Randy has described in his work, I do value Raphael as he and I have spent a lot of time together carrying out the will of our Creator. We also have kept an eye on Lucifer and what he is doing and/or planning. Raphael helps me keep the proper perspective in our work and I hope he feels I do the same for him.
Do you believe the author did a bang up job of portraying you as a character that everyone would love to read about? Oh, absolutely. While he and I have never ever met, I feel he has portrayed me in a good light and in an exciting way that people will not only want to read but get excited about reading. I think the way he has described me and the events I have been involved in will be a fast-paced exciting experience for all his readers, and they will want to read each book of his series about me, and about Lucifer. Many probably have not thought about things that have occurred, and are occurring, in the way Randy has presented them. I think it will provide many readers with a thought-provoking read and prepare them for many discussions with their friends.

Dr. Randy C. Dockens has a fascination with science and with the Bible, holds Ph.D. degrees in both areas, and is a man not only of faith and science, but also of creativity. He believes that faith and science go hand in hand without being enemies of each other.
After completing his bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from Auburn University he went on to graduate school at Auburn and completed his first doctorate degree in Pharmaceutics. He began his scientific career as a pharmacokinetic reviewer for the Food and Drug Administration and later joined a leading pharmaceutical company as a pharmacokineticist, which is a scientist who analyzes how the human body affects drugs after they have been administered (i.e., absorbed, distributed, metabolized, and excreted).
Through the years, he has worked on potential medicines within several disease areas, including cardiovascular, fibrosis, and immunoscience to see and develop new and novel medicines in these therapy areas.
He has also had his attention on the academic study of the Bible. He earned a second doctorate in Biblical Prophecy from Louisiana Baptist University after receiving a master’s degree in Jewish Studies from the Internet Bible Institute under the tutelage of Dr. Robert Congdon.
Randy has recently retired from his pharmaceutical career and is spending even more time on his writing efforts. He has written several books that span dystopian, end-time prophecy, science fiction, and uniquely told Bible stories. All his books, while fun to read, are futuristic, filled with science to give them an authentic feel, have a science fiction feel to them, and allows one to learn some aspect of Biblical truth one may not have thought about before. This is all done in a fast-paced action format that is both entertaining and provides a fun read for his readers.
