Character Q&A: Darcy Wainwright of Thomas White's The Siren's Scream #characterinterview

Today's guest is Darcy Wainwright from inside the pages of THE SIREN'S SCREAM by Thomas White.  It is a pleasure to have her with us at The Literary Nook!

What is your name?  Darcy Wainwright

What do you look like? Early 20's, dark hair, green eyes, guys find me attractive.

Where are you today and what are you doing? I am in Santa Cruz, CA. I've lived here most of my life. I used to party a lot and

was a waitress down at Inkydan's Pub but recently I got my real estate license and just sold a huge mansion overlooking the Pacific. I am very optimistic about the future!

Describe the outside of your home. I live in an apartment now but have my eye on a little 2 bedroom across town. It has a nice yard and pool. Really excited to see if I can pull it off.

What is your favorite piece of clothing?  I have a number of old concert t-shirts that I love to wear. Whenever I'm in a mood I'll put one on that reminds me of a fun time. My mom gave me a Springsteen t-shirt that I especially love, just because she and my dad went to the concert together.

What scares you? Not much, but I've been having these nightmares lately that are pretty weird. This woman keeps killing herself with a gun. I can't seem to shake the images.

How would your parents describe you?  I lost my dad when I was young. He just up and left, no one knows why. My mom now lives in Sacramento and she would tell you that I am the life of the party and a ton of fun to hang with.

What’s the last thing you do before you go to bed at night? I read a lot. I always have something by the bed to read before I sleep. Usually crime drama and mystery's.

Who is your best friend? Where is your favorite hangout? Favorite hang out is easy, D-Brees Pub! Been going there since before I was legal, lol. My best friend, well, there's a couple of gals from school and the receptionist where I work, Shelley, but really, my best friend is a guy named Kerry. We don't hang out a lot anymore, he's always got a new girl friend, but end of the day, he'd be my go-to person.
