What is your name?
Ava Lawson formerly known as Ava Andrews
What do you look like?
I have long red hair, hazel eyes, and you’ll find me in my typical work uniform of a black sleeveless turtleneck tunic and black tights, unless I’m on the run.
Where are you today and what are you doing?
I’m back in Colombia training to take my place among the Ananzeti.
Describe the outside of your home.
My home in Los Angeles is snuggled in the Hollywood Hills. It’s a white contemporary two story with a garage below. The long infinity pool set high up on the hill is my favorite spot to relax when I happen to spend the night there, which isn’t very often.
You come face to face with your worst enemy. How do you
react?
I am calm but alert. I greet them openly, yet give them no indication that I will back down to them.
You keep a photo album of memories from your lifetime. If
you could only keep one photo, which one would that be?
My parents holding me between them in Colombia as a child.
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Yes. I work late and am up with the sun. Naps are everything.
What is your favorite piece of clothing?
I’m partial to the tunics I wear because I’ve designed them with sensors that monitor my vitals and environment.
How do you feel about mortality?
The body will die yet the soul will continue its dance through the dimensions.
What scares you?
Soul death
How would your parents describe you?
They died when I was a teenager, but would have described me as curious, a bookworm, an outcast. The kids liked to call me bruja roja because of my hair and my mom’s music healing.
What’s the last thing you do before you go to bed at night?
I usually fall asleep with my laptop open on the desk or in my lap while I’m coding.
Are you faith-oriented?
I am not religious but I do believe there is more to our lives than we currently understand.
Are you married or in a relationship?
I’m married to my company.
Where is your favorite hangout?
I love my late uncle’s cabin in Montana, but I rarely get to visit. It’s mine now.
You are at the zoo. What is your favorite animal?
Jaguars remind me of my childhood. They’re so beautiful.
You just woke up to find that war has been declared. What’s
the first thing you would do?
I would meditate and ask for guidance.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew
up?
Rich, but I got that when I lost my parents and went to live with my uncle in Beverly Hills. Then I just wanted to have a family.
Brilliant and relentless tech CEO Ava Lawson built a system to play the currency market and make her billions. Instead, it begins to play strange music and makes normally level headed people behave irrationally, violently, dangerously.
While on the run from a coup to steal her code, Ava meets an ethereal stranger who seems to know more about her than she does.
The stranger calls himself an apprentice. He pleads for her help to stop what they have started.
“The Sound of Creation is a mind-bending book filled with big questions about our existence. It takes you on a journey disrupted by action scenes and strange characters. You will find yourself floating on dimensions you did not know even existed. This book is a mind game. You have been warned.” ~ George Papa, author of The Manual and The Architect’s typist for The Code
